Sequoia Consulting was birthed from many personal and professional experiences where we learned to find authenticity and virtue in most circumstances. We endeavor to nurture others on their professional journeys - to empower and uplift people and businesses through financial literacy, personal branding and marketing, and process improvement.

MAYA MCNEESE-HARGETT
Chief Executive Officer
Maya McNeese-Hargett is Sequoia Consulting's Chief Executive Officer. Maya founded the company in 2022 to provide resources, coaching, and empowerment for those desiring financial guidance, process improvement, or resume writing. As a new author, Maya hopes to expand the biblical, financial stewardship message to a larger audience.
Maya earned her BA degree in Economics with a Mathematics minor from The University of Illinois and a MBA degree with a Marketing concentration from Keller Graduate School of Management. She holds a Six Sigma Black Belt, a LEAN coaching and a Change Management coaching certification.
Maya and her husband have served as Victory Church's volunteer finance ministry leaders for the past six years (members for 13 years total) which have enabled them see hundreds of people receive biblical, financial literacy and positively impact their overall trajectory. She chairs UPS' Corporate Women's Leadership Development Business Connections committee where they have positively impacted regional small business owners through a home-grown group mentoring program.
